Description:

Big. About 1.5". Shiny black, wings long, irridescent blue- black. Two large yellow dots each side of abdomen. Not aggressive at all- allowed me to get literally 3" away from it with my camera- completely ignored me (fortunately!) She seemed intent on hunting around the base of an aster-like plant in my yard. I've seen her several times, so I'm hoping she lives in my yard.
