This wasp was resting in the shade of a yucca leaves, when I started taking pictures It turned around and started moving towards me, I took off.

Sorry to hear that, I hope you get better really soon. They say the wasp sting is very painful.
Got stung by on today and still hurting. Cant close my hand. But still pretty
