Great Egret

Ardea alba

Habitat:

marshland near lower Gulf Coast of Florida, USA

Notes:

As far as I know, think this is a Great Egret in his spring mating plumage. He walked very slowly while moving his long neck forward and back. Love the bright green eye mask. ( Photo is slightly blurred, but think still shows his appearance fairly well.)
