Longhorn Beetle

Aeolesthes sp.

Description:

Cerambicidae; Cerambycinae; Cerambycini; Aeolesthes sp. This beetle has the longest antennae I have ever seen on any insect. Wikipedia shows a picture of Aeolesthes induta Newman, 1842 from Mindanao, Philippines and it looks a bit like my spotting, but I am not certain.

Habitat:

This Longhorn Beetle was spotted climbing up the stem of a Dracaena Plant (Dracaena marginata) beside the front gate of our house.
