Description:

Limpets (marine gastropod molluscs) with oval-base, ribbed conical shells, none in excess of 2 inches on the long axis of its base.

Habitat:

Tropical surf zone rocks.

Notes:

Spotted at several locations on the west side of "jump rock" at Waimea Bay. This species is endemic to Hawaii.
