They live in the vast forests in the Gaspé Peninsula.
This picture was taken in a park in Québec. These moose are captive animals. The Bioparc... the Gaspésie's wild animal park. To visit the Bioparc is to discover the natural diversity of the Gaspé Peninsula through five unique ecosystems: the Bay, the Barachois (tidal pools and bars), the River, the Forest and the Tundra. As you stroll our trail of more than one-kilometre, you will come into close contact with over thirty indigenous animal species living in semi-liberty in their own ecosystems. In addition, you will see over 70 plant species. Follow the animal caretakers during mealtimes, join the discovery activities with naturalists. see and touch pets at the little farm and don't miss to leave aside your fears in watching the facinating world of insects.
