Agaricus cap not expanded but distinct shape. Consistent with A xanthodetmis: Cap faint yellow staining. Clear yellow stain on crushed base of stipe and immature annulus (gill covering tissue at this stage.) Gills creamy at this early stage. Phenolic scent faint if present.
