Description:

Family: Noctuidae, Subfamily: Noctuinae, Tribes: Tholerini and Hadenini (Large Arches) Beautiful reds, browns and tans with one white spot/blotch on each wing. Scalloped-like edges. Very fuzzy head. Large black eyes. Two large red blotches underneath white spots. Also 3 spots on edge of each wing. Fuzzy tail. Size: 1 inch long (2.54 cm) Hosts: Corn and grasses

Habitat:

Near woodlands. Attracted to light.
