Description:

About 60mm tall and 40mm across; satin golden sheen on a domed cap; pale cream gills; robust pale cream-grey stipe

Habitat:

Parkland within moist eucalyptus forest. In open dense short grass.

Notes:

Strophariaceae family, This was a solitary specimen and a surprise to find so late in the season. This is a hallucigenic mushroom and needs to be treated with caution.
