Paropsisterna sp. [interlita]
It looks like Paropsisterna intacta with its pinstripes and false ocelli. Maybe its his darker brother. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/784...
On the track to Cathedral Mountain, Taggerty Found, surprisingly on Bursaria spinosa

Our local authority, Chris Reid, made the following notes;
'Its an undescribed species closest to interlita – we have 3 specimens, from Tyringham & nr Armidale. I synonymised Sterromela with Paropsisterna in 2006. -Chris
Thanks Lauren.
Now this beetle looks like Sterromela which is monotypic (by EOL), even though PaDIL illustrates two.
