Our local authority, Chris Reid, made the following notes;

'Its an undescribed species closest to interlita – we have 3 specimens, from Tyringham & nr Armidale. I synonymised Sterromela with Paropsisterna in 2006. -Chris

Thanks Lauren.
Now this beetle looks like Sterromela which is monotypic (by EOL), even though PaDIL illustrates two.
