Description:

Large, iridescent damselfly with reddish thorax above and on sides, with thin pale stripes. Abdomen bronzy green. Wings clear or dusky, with large red patch at base. Very long, blackish legs.

Habitat:

Spotted on Bittern Marsh Trail in Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area.
