Description:

Hesperiidae; Hesperiinae; Oriens gola pseudolus Mabille, 1883. "Oriens gola, the common dartlet, is a butterfly of the family Hesperiidae. It is found from Sri Lanka and India (Kumaon, Sikkim, Assam) to Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra." Wikipedia. It appears that we only have the ssp. in Philippines.

Habitat:

Spotted on Tropical Whiteweed (Ageratum conyzoides) growing at the conjunction of four rice fields This Tropical Whiteweed seems to be extremely popular amongst many butterflies in our area, and Hesperiidae spp. find it irresistible. They are on and around this particular plant throughout most of the year.
