Description:

Introduced species. Not native to California. Overall a orange/red color with it being more brown on upperside. Being mistake for the other local squirrels, these will have no white on the belly or white eyering. Long bushy tail.

Habitat:

Can be found foraging on the ground or in the trees of Eucalyptus and Oak trees. But also can be found in most trees.
