Common garden snail

Helix aspersa

Description:

A large snail,the shell being about 1.5 inches in length,its shell is brown in color and opaque. It had 2 feelers near its mouth and Its eyes were on medium-sized stalks about a half of an inch long.

Habitat:

On an ironwood tree. I found it while I was hiking through the woods and couldn't resist snapping a pic of it. :)
