Yellow-headed blackbird

Description:

The adult male is a large blackbird with a yellow head and breast. The adult female is mainly brown with a dull yellow throat and breast.

Habitat:

Spotted in a large wetland at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge.

Notes:

These birds migrate in the winter to the southwest of the United States and Mexico.
