Description:

This insect is a Coleoptera, family Chrysomelidae and it has this beautiful metallic colours in green, blue and red. No larger than 1 cm, I always found them in the Spring season in the bushes no more than 1 meter from the ground.

Habitat:

I found them in San Isidro, which is over the Rio de la Plata. The Ribera Norte natural reserve protects a small piece of the natural forest of the Delta and the shore of the river.
