Hieracium aurantiacum
Orange hawkweed is a rhizomatous, and/or stoloniferous perennial herb that exudes a milky sap. Plants have a basal rosette of leaves covered in trichomes. Each rosette produces 10 to 30 flowering stems that are 10 to 36 inches (25-91 cm) tall. Each inflorescence consists of 5 to 39 orange flower heads. The seeds are tiny, with a tawny tuft of barbs at one end.
