8 grams 33.8mm (?) Nature's unappreciated mosquito buster - Bat Conservation & Rescue QLD Inc.
This juvenile male microbat was found at the pontoon nearby a boat propeller and suspected that he had swallowed some amount of saltwater. Wildlife rescues took a really good care of him and after 4 days he was ready to be released. Logan's 'mum' Eva, extended her arm from my balcony to encourage him to fly to his roosting at the tree in front of my house, 3 nights of doing this with no luck.. At the end, they took Logan away to join his kind in an aviary.
