Description:

Only occasion that I've seen and photographed a Caracara with a white beak.

Habitat:

On fence post in area of coastal prairie and marsh.

Notes:

Spotted at Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge along County Road 208. Caracara was with a group of Black Vultures near road kill.

I have read that immature birds have greyish-white legs and greyish or dull pinkish-purple facial skin and cere. :)
