Thanks to the both of you again. Actually, all of my Florida pics are from 2011. Other than photos of eagles, things have been slow lately, so I started adding my Florida spottings. I'm hoping to get back this summer sometime, so a map of my sightings should be helpful.
Of course :) I never get to see them out of the water so I always miss those bright yellow feet! You've been getting some great bird shots lately, Bill!
Agree on the legs kd. I thought they all had yellow going down the backside, but I certainly can't see it here. I even went back to some other photos of the same bird, but they are all from this angle.

Yes, mostly I see the water birds with 'no feet' as they are most often wading in water. Agree very much with Ashley - your images are great!

Juveniles have yellow down the back of the leg, adults have all black legs. This is a normal looking bird. And a very beautiful photo!
