Habitat:

I found this reptile (which is not a snake) not far from a small lake in the jungle.

Notes:

Unfortunately it was dead, but seemed to have died of natural causes (old age?). Although this species is fairly common, it is rarely seen because of its burrowing and nocturnal way of live. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphisbaena...
