Box Turtle

Habitat:

Sandy, dry wash. Elevation about 4200 feet.

Notes:

I saw the turtle before the sunlight hit him. When I returned hoping to photograph him in better light, all I had were the tracks. They are also beautiful.

Very beautiful. A great addition to the "Signs of Wildlife" mission.
