Description:

One of many Monarch mimics this medium sized butterfly can be told apart by it's post median black band on each wing. In the southwest they mimic the Queen - Danaus gilippus.

Very nice. Haven't seen one in my area. Of course I may have thought it was a monarch and didn't bother to look.

Thanks, They're about half the size of the Monarch.
