Description:

The northern red-legged frog is a protected species of frog in Oregon and is considered a true frog. They are about 8cm long with a light facial line. It also has powerful back legs well adapted for jumping.

Habitat:

Still waters of ponds, marshes, and stream pools from British Colombia to Northern California.
