Acridotheres fuscus

Description:

Of Blackbird size, these birds are predominantly grey, much darker on head and backs, with large white wing patches and white tail tips, all obvious in flight. The bill and legs are bright yellow, and there is no bare skin around eye; but there is recognisable forehead tuft. Sexes alike.

Habitat:

Seen in urban area in densely populated Cox's Bazar town, in backyard gardens on urban periphery. The area is close to the beach, a lot of urban gardens (vegetables and some paddy; as well as many ponds). Jungle mynah is omnivorous, picking berries and chasing insects (including ectoparasites on domestic animals).
