Eastern Yellow-bellied Racer

Coluber constrictor flaviventris

Description:

A subadult racer so it still retains some of its juvenile pattern.

Habitat:

West facing grassy hillside above the South Platte River and adjacent to a bike path and uncultivated (mostly dirt) field.

Notes:

Found On the Crawl, however might have been startled by me. Was crawling under the deep grass.
