Cyana sp.
The outer basket is attached on a metal column of a bridge and is about 25mm in size while the suspended pupa is about 15mm. Pupa is pale brown in colour with lateral dark dots. A small green spider can also be observed at the bottom of the pic building a net around the basket.
Spotted during a raining morning walk at Kebun Raya Cibodas, a 80ha area above 1.400 metres high, mix of botanical park with big trees & palms and surrounded by rainforest at the foot of Gene volcano, Java - Indonesia.

Thanks Ashley
Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!
Thanks Ava
Beautiful!!
