Large Copper Dung Beetle

Description:

Large dung beetle, coppery brown colour, rolling its ball of dung.

Habitat:

Savanna/woodland

Notes:

Fairly common in Mlawula Nature Reserve, along with the smaller green dung beetles. Possibly Kheper nigroaeneus. (Apologies for the noisy soundtrack on the video - squeaky tripod!)
