Description:

A medium sized, dark colored snake. Commonly seen with its head poking above the grass keeping a lookout for both predators and prey.

Habitat:

Open Praries, suburban areas.

Notes:

I caught this juvinile in the middle of a church service when he managed to get himself up on stage.
