Western Sage Lizard

Description:

A Western Sage Brush Lizard.

Habitat:

Shrub-steppe scablands. Sand, topsoil, sage brush, dry grasses. In southeast Washington with hot summers and freezing winters.

Notes:

What an adventure that lead me to these guys! I saw about 20 of them in a very small area. Maybe 3,000 square feet at most. I got stuck in the sand for 5 hours last night... http://www.stevelenzphotography.com/blog...
