Thousands of Fluted bird nest fused together to create a mosaic that only nature can produce. The size of this mosaic was about 130 cm diameter. The eggs or peridioles where still present in many of the nest.
Spotted in wood chips at a construction site.

Thanks Lauren! I was amazed when I found it. I've been working in the area for some time and I know the wood chips had only been there for maybe a year. I guess the conditions were perfect.
