Just like the normal domestic house sparrows we see (at first glance) but with a beauty spot on the cheeks. The crown is a richer shade of chestnut.
Bangkok city proper. This shot was taken just outside the Grand Palace. This is an area with very heavy traffic but there are green verges, some trees and gentle people.
I saw these sparrows everywhere in Bangkok.
