Description:

An european species of thrush; the male is easily recognized, all black with a yellow bill and a yellow ring around the eye.

Habitat:

Common all over Europe and Asia, as well as North Africa, where it is native. It was introduced in other parts of the world. Here, observed one sunny winter afternoon from our windows, roaming around our feeders.
