White rhinoceros

Ceratotherium simum

Description:

The skin is rough, dark grey-brown and appears naked but has a scattering of coarse bristles. The muzzle is broad, the lips wide and square and the front horn is straight. The head is long in proportionto the neck and is carried low. The ears have small points and a sparse fringe of hair. The neck is massive, with a distinct hump at its base and on the shoulders.( Smithers' mammals of southern africa a field guide. fourth edition)

Habitat:

Grassland,thick cover and water.(together)

Notes:

Scary, I think it defines my feeling while it passed bobbing its enormous head around the car. It felt so powerful it could just demolish us without swetting.
