Melospiza melodia
Heavy brown streaking on white to light gray breast and underparts. Streaking occurs on the head and cheeks. Great variation in subspecies.
Forest edges clearings, shrubby areas and gardens and city parks
The link in my suggestion gives a few good ways to tell the two apart, they are very similar! The streaking on the flanks is what is easiest for me to tell them apart with, song sparrows have crisp, small streaks and fox sparrows have thick, blotchy streaks.
