Description:

Only fresh , so still small , very short and stocky , light apricot/brown cap , bright apricot pores , and a thick stipe ..orange/pale pink ...does NOT stain blue

Habitat:

Found in grassy soil under a massive oak tree.

Notes:

Not very often seen and found , but a few sightings documented for Tasmania .. ID confirmed by G. Gates- Tasmanian Field Guide.
