Orang-utan crab

Achaeus japonicus

Description:

Small crablike creature maybe less than 2cm across. I thought it might be either some type of sea spider, judging by the way that it moved its legs, or maybe even an Orang-utan Crab (do to the shape of its eyes and head). Edit: Decided it was an Orang-utan Crab.

Habitat:

Coral Reef. Arthur's Rock on a Night Dive

Notes:

Arthur's Rock is a Marine Sanctuary

Albert. I don't have any pictures from the front. It was tucked away so that I couldn't get on the other side. I'll go with Oran-Utan Crab. Thanks Albert.

Its not a Sea Spider. More likely an Orang Utan Crab. Do you have shots from the front?
