Description:

Shrub, white with pink and purplish flower, soft flower. Smooth bark texture. Green and yellow leaves. About 2 m long.

Habitat:

Natural habitat: shaded rainforest, but found all around.

Notes:

whenever the temperatures are warm, the star-like flower middle is magenta instead of pink. The flowers are like mini trumpets with four petals and make a "false face" since they lack the fifth flower petal of similar looking Pseuderanthemum and eranthemum. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Native to Polynesia and Melanesia.Common uses/hazards/importance: usages are for container, hedges, mixed border and foundation. No hazards.
