Newly hatched chick and egg in a nest on a branch hanging over the footpath outside my house. Mum or dad sits on the babies and isn't too happy about me hanging around!

They were pretty timid actually. One swooped me once, but they seemed pretty scared, so I tried to clear off quickly!

Great shots julia. I'm surprised the miners didn't attack you. They are usually very brave. I bet the made a racket when you snapped the nest.
