Description:

A Medium–sized spider. Body length 7 mm. Shiny black or dark brown similar in size and shape to the true katipo

Habitat:

Common around homes, gardens, under logs or any dark place. This one was under an umbrella stand where she was guarding an egg sac till I disturbed her.
