and if it's possums you want to see in particular there is a place in the tweed valley called murwillumbah which means place of many possums!
It's on the east coast in northern New South Wales. But definitely do some research on it, it's beautiful.
Your spottings are pretty amazing. Not sure where tweed valley is. GUess I have research to do
Karen i may be biased as i live there but i would recommend the tweed valley if you were to come to Australia. No big cities, plenty of wildlife and beautiful beaches. It's so peaceful.Have a look at some of my spottings to get an idea of what you can expect to see there. Almost all of my spottings occurred in my own backyard!
But so overwhelming in terms of, where does one start? I'd love to have a possum coming to my door!
Yeah I love possums, most of them are pretty friendly to. Australia is an awesome place for a holiday, diverse and unique landscapes and animals!
My family has Australia on our list of places to see in the not too distant future(next 5 years). We just don't know where we should choose to go. This is amazing - nothing we have ever seen in a zoo or other collection.
Great spotting! Thanks for adding it to the flora & fauna of NSW mission :)
