Zosterops luteus balstoni
This beautiful little bird is a gray-green from the crown down the along the back. The underparts are yellow. It has a black beak and also the legs. The name is derived from the yellow body and the noticeable white ring around the eyes.
In this tree which is amongst a lot of bullrush/reeds of some sort surrounding a waste water treatment wetlands area.
My first time ever seeing this species of bird :) First reference for identification: The Michael Morcombe eGuide to Australian Birds, Mobile App. Reference: http://www.birdway.com.au/zosteropidae/y...
