Six-Spotted Tiger Beetle (with Mites)

Description:

Brilliant green coloration with six distinct white spots on the elytra. This beetle seems to be parasitized by some mites on it's thorax (see second picture).

Habitat:

Spotted on a fallen tree next to a stream at Bent of the River Audubon
