Striped Blister Beetle

Epicauta vittata

Description:

Again, sorry for the blurry picture with what I'm working with, but this is a striped blister beetle. I found it at work while working freight. I wasn't really sure what it was, some sort of ant or wasp based on its head, but it was quite a tame insect and was released back into the wild as soon as I found my way outside.

Habitat:

Can be found in the Eastern United States up to Canada.
