Spotting

Description:

I'm thinking a thrush egg's shell or possibly a sparrow. Only half of it was there. The inside was surprisingly not very smooth looking. It had little white bits on the walls of the shells.

Mossy forest floor of a Sitka Spruce forest. Interior Termination Point Trail

I agree. Very similar to common blackbird egg so maybe a Turdus sp. is likely.
