Description:

little blob of orange , warty when hit with the macro ..they start off pale pink , darker pink /orange colour during the plasmodial stage, and then brown .With maturity the fluid becomes a powdery mass of minute gray sporesWith maturity the fluid becomes a powdery mass of minute gray spores

Habitat:

rotting log - singular one .

Notes:

Lycogala epidendrum is a “slime mold”, which isn’t a mushroom or even a true fungus at all. It has more in common with the amoeba or paramecium you find in pond water
