squirrel

Description:

Grey squirrel with a red sheen and a red bushy tail. About 15 cm in lenght.

Habitat:

Living in the trees of Parque Del Este (Parque Generalisimo Francisco De Miranda ) Near Cerro del Avila a big mountain chain near Caracas. Venezuela.

Notes:

While I was observing the gorgeous sloths that were living in the tree I noticed something else moving....it was this lovely creature, eating and collecting the fruits of the tree. He would always collect and return to the same spot to eat the fruits.

Hi Jellis

Thank you for your ID. I doubt a little bit as the squirrel on your picture has a lot more red on his belly then I have seen on "my" squirrel....
What do you think?
