Drakensberg Crag Lizard

Pseudocordylus melanotus subviridis

Description:

This male has a very large, broad head, gray back, and orange belly and sides. Large lizard, somewhere around a foot in length.

Habitat:

Saw dozens of these just driving by rocky areas, they would be out sunning themselves. We managed to catch this one and bring him back for photos then released him back at his rocks. High elevation grasslands.
