@ Lenny I've just come across a photo of the Angled Castor in the ButterflyCircle Checklist and looks more like this one than the Common Castor. Their image has white spots on the wings - http://www.butterflycircle.com/checklist...
I only recognized it because I've seen the Angled Castor up here in Chaiyaphum which apparantly dos'nt occur in the peninsular. but is similar.The white spots gave it away.
Gosh Lenny! I would never have recognised it ... I mean I'm not great at idents anyway!! ... Poor Common Castor certainly looks as if it's been through the wars a bit!! Thanks for the ident! : )

A very worn specimen.but I think it is a Common Castor - Ariadne merione ginosa.
