Vulpes vulpes
I found this skull on the mountain today. The red fox has an elongated body and relatively short limbs. The tail, which is longer than half the body length (70% of head and body length) is long, fluffy and reaches the ground when in a standing position. Their pupils are oval and vertically oriented. heir skulls are fairly narrow and elongated with small braincases. Their canine teeth are relatively long. Sexual dimorphism of the skull is more pronounced than in corsac foxes, with female red foxes tending to have smaller than average skulls than males, with wider nasal regions and hard palates, as well as having larger canines.
Red foxes are omnivores with a highly varied diet.

Hi EmilyMarino!
the most common fox in this area is Vulpes vulpes
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_fox
What kind of foxes do you have in the area? Maybe I can help you narrow it down to a specie from there!
Thank you very much @Team Brinez 2 and @EmilyMarino!!
I've added the photo to the mission that you've recommended
I was pretty sure it was a fox, there are many out that mountain
Thanks again!
I agree with Emily this pic of a fox skull looks almost like your photo http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http:...
It looks fox like to me! However, I am not familiar with fox species in Spain. You could add this spotting to the "Identifying Animals Through Osteology" Someone else may be able to give you an exact ID! http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8475... Cool find!
